Is this a complete slide assembly?
No. This is a stripped slide. You will need to install your own slide completion parts kit (firing pin, extractor, etc.), barrel, and recoil spring assembly from your original Glock 17 or purchase them separately. This allows for customization and use of your preferred components.
Will this fit my Glock 17 Gen 5?
This slide is specifically machined for Glock 17 Gen 1-4 models. While it may physically fit some Gen 5 frames, we do not recommend it due to potential compatibility issues with the ambidextrous slide stop and updated recoil spring assembly. For optimal performance and reliability, use it with the intended generations.
Are iron sights included?
Iron sights are not included with this slide. Due to the RMR cut, you will need to purchase suppressor-height or lower 1/3 co-witness iron sights to see them over the body of your mounted red dot optic. This ensures a proper backup sighting system.
Is the optic cut ready to mount a sight?
Yes, the cut is machined to the precise RMR/Holosun K footprint. Most optics in this family will mount directly using their provided screws. However, always check screw length to ensure they do not protrude and interfere with internal slide components. Some users prefer to use a sealing plate for a perfect fit and added debris protection.
