Is this a complete, ready-to-fire firearm?
No. The PF940V2 is an 80% frame, often termed a “receiver blank.” It is not a firearm and is shipped directly to your door. You must complete the machining of specific cavities using the included jig and tools, then source and install a compatible parts kit and slide assembly to create a functional firearm, in full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
What tools do I need to complete the frame?
Beyond the included jig and drill bits, you will need a reliable hand drill or drill press, a vise to secure the jig, various hand files or a Dremel tool for precise polymer removal, and a hammer or punch set for installing pins. Patience and attention to detail are critical for a safe and proper fit.
Which parts kits and slides are compatible?
This frame is designed specifically for use with Generation 3 Glock® 17 components. You will need to purchase a separate OEM or aftermarket Glock® 17 parts kit (lower parts kit) and a complete Gen 3 G17 slide assembly, which includes the barrel and recoil spring.
